The Selz Contracting team is committed to helping you with your roofing and other contracting needs during this difficult and uncertain time.

Our Commitment to Keeping You Safe

While the world adjusts to the impact of COVID-19, we are following CDC recommendations to help protect the well-being of our team members, our customers, and our community.

It is important to address any roof issues that you have as soon as you can. Leaving damage or signs of leaks unattended can cause damage to your home and you do not want to risk that especially with the storm season.  Here are a few ways that Selz Contracting can work to keep us all safe while doing full roof replacements or roof repair jobs during the Coronavirus outbreak.

1. Electronic Communication Protocol: an electronic communication protocol has been implemented among customers, office staff and jobsite crews to eliminate in-person contact wherever possible. If you need to speak directly, a 6 foot space will be kept and absolutely no shaking hands or personal contact.

2. Physical Social Distancing – Since work is mostly done outside your home, you do not  have contact with any of our crew during the job.

3. Compliance With CDC Recommendations – We will not risk our customers’ or employees’ health or safety. Our team follows the protocols recommended by the CDC. We encourage sick employees to stay at home, and we also perform routine cleaning and disinfection of our tools, work attire, and other equipment.

Reasons Why You Should Not Delay Roof Repairs

While it’s important to prioritize your health amid the COVID-19 outbreak, it is important that your home should be in good shape especially with the storm season here. Any damage to your roof is a matter that cannot wait, and it is important to have it repaired in a timely manner. Remember that you have the responsibility as a homeowner to your insurance company and any claim you may have to prevent any further damage.

This is equally important for both major and minor roof problems. Serious damage to your roof can cause immediate concerns, while minor ones like small leaks can turn into bigger problems and lead to more extensive damage.

For example, non-stop exposure to moisture with a leak can make your home susceptible to mold growth. It can also affect the air quality inside your home. Apart from potentially damaging your home, mold can also have an impact on your health, especially if you have allergies or respiratory conditions like asthma. Needless to say, now more than ever, it is crucial to stay healthy and to protect yourself and your family from such risks.

The team at Selz Contracting is here for you. We are continuing to work to ensure the safety of your home while taking all necessary precautions to protect the health of our family and yours. We are all in this together. Contact us for help with your emergency contracting needs.
