It is important to trim back trees that have grown too close to your roof. A strong gust of wind or rain storm can easily cause these branches to damage your roof and cost you thousands of dollars. Trim back any branches that are hanging over or close to your roof to prevent them from causing damage.
Due to its location, it can be difficult to spot damage to your roof until it’s too late. There are some signs that something may be wrong with your roof. You just have to know what to look for. Curling shingles, missing or cracked shingles, sagging roof lines, moss growth on the shingles, mold growth inside your home, water stains inside the home, and higher than usual utility bills are all signs that your roof could be damaged.
